Budleigh Salterton Art Club is made up of people who, apart from living in EX9 and the surrounding area, have one thing in common. We are all practising artists.
Whether you are a complete beginner, very experienced or even a professional artist, all that we ask is that you are actively involved in the exciting process of creating art.

When do we meet and what do we do?

Club meetings take place on the last Wednesday of every month, from 9.45 a.m. until noon, with the first half-hour being given up to coffee and a chance for members to meet up. This is followed by a talk, demonstration or critique from a visiting artist.

During the year we have a variety of workshops including portrait, landscape, still life and floral sessions as well as trips to exhibitions, plein air painting days, and many other themes.

Join the club

We welcome people living in the EX9 postal area, which can include surrounding villages at the discretion of the committee, who are actively creating art.

Members are encouraged to exhibit at our annual exhibitions and to participate in the running of the club where possible. Subscriptions are £30 per annum which includes admission to all meetings, monthly demonstrations and displays at the exhibitions.
