During the year we hold two exhibitions, both at Budleigh Salterton Public Hall.
The first is our one-day show on the 30th May, Bank Holiday Monday. The second is our main annual exhibition in August which is open for a week with members’ artwork on display and for sale. This usually includes refreshments, live music, kids’ corner, a prize draw, cards of artwork for sale and so on.
Before the show we hold an exclusive Members’ Preview Evening when our independent guest judges present awards in various categories and members get first choice of any artwork they wish to buy.
You should now have received an email with the entry form attached. Hard copies will be available at the next two club meetings (before the Exhibition). Please bring the completed Form, along with your artwork, on the Exhibition day. You need only one copy of the Form. Please check through the instruction sheet carefully and make sure you conform to the hanging tag standards. Your tag will serve as your artwork's label and will be on display to potential buyers.
In addition, we really need your help to ensure that our exhibition runs smoothly! We need volunteers to:
- help with receiving and hanging artwork
- help set up the exhibition
- give 2 hours of stewarding.
Wendy or Teresa will be at the next club meeting with the rota for you to give your names and contact details, so please bring your diaries on 27th April. We really do appreciate your help.
Following the call for entries, we received many submissions
for our autumnal tree-themed exhibition.
