SUPPORT OUR CLUB
There are many ways that you can support the running of our club.
The committee work as a close-knit team putting together the exhibitions and organising inspiring demonstrations and workshops throughout the year. We have opportunities below for helping on the committee.

We also rely on the goodwill of our members to help with our twice yearly exhibitions. Be it through helping set up the exhibition, to assisting with washing tablecloths, to handing out fliers. We welcome any helpers!

VACANT ROLES:
Vice Chairman
We are looking for a Vice Chairman. this role involves being part of the committee and gaining an understanding of how things are run at the club. The Vice-Chairman would usually step into cover for the Chairman during absences at Club Meetings and Committee Meetings and would help to lead the club, and support its members. Treasurer
We’re simple artists in need of an expert. If you have a natural ability to understand the mysteries of-money in, money-out, the subtleties of a sales ledger and how to prepare projections, Budleigh Salterton Art Club needs your assistance.
Our current treasurer is stepping down at the end of his term so we need the expertise of someone to help our art club continue to thrive.
Our systems are up to date - we make use of the latest technology for exhibition sales, collecting membership fees and making payments and we have a strong financial base as one of the South West’s leading art clubs.
If you’d like to spend a few hours each month helping a friendly, fun and enthusiastic team, this is a voluntary but vital position for us and we’d love to hear that you’d be interested.

EXHIBITION ASSISTANTs:
We are looking someone to shadow our Exhibition Secretary in the view to potentially taking on this role next year. Our Exhibition Secretary coordinates the exhibitions alongside a supportive team. We have systems set in place and the role centers around gaining familiarity with how things are organised.
