I’m in love with colour and I’m in love with strong vibrant luminous
watercolour. For me, although the act of painting is very much about the
subject, it’s also very much about exploring the wonderful interactions of
the paint:  I like to watch it blend and flow and react, often letting it
do its own thing, in the knowledge that no two paintings could ever be the
same. I use strong washes of wet in wet colour, often using mixed media
and experimental techniques to achieve exciting effects and textures.

Since my recent move to the coast I have also been striving to capture the
spirit of the sea in a new medium for me: acrylic paint.

Until my recent move to East Devon, I was a regular exhibitor at the RHS
Artists’ Garden Exhibition at Rosemoor in Devon, and I have also exhibited
at the National Trust’s Killerton House and Barrington Court, the Meeting
House Ilminster and the Quartz Arts Festival, Taunton. I undertook a
week’s solo Artist’s Residency at Cape Cornwall in Cornwall.

For a full portfolio of my work, which includes just about everything I've
ever painted: head over to an American site where I keep a lovely webpage:
