Welcome to our monthly little roundup of art club interests. Many of us will by now have had our first jabs so in a few weeks it’ll be time for the second one which we hope will be the start of a return to some sort of normality....
It’s the 1st April so welcome to this month’s edition of ourArt Club newsletter - and look out for pranks and those annoying and inconvenient showers.....
Firstly, on behalf of the Club’s committee, I’d like to wish everyone a very Happy and Heathy New Year.
Here we are at the beginning 2021 when we all
had hopes that we’d be able to open our doors
once again and enjoy each other’s company at
regular art club meetings.
Well, it’s not quite worked out that way but at least
we have the welcome news that a safe and
effective vaccine is now being offered so there is
genuine hope and expectation that it may not be
all that long before restrictions are lifted and we
can resume activities.
After such a long time it will a relief and a pleasure
to be able to see our friends face-to-face once
more and enjoy sharing our experiences along
with talks and demonstrations from our excellent
In addition, we can look forward to more trips,
workshops, exhibitions and other activities that
were planned for last year but had to be
postponed. Some good news at last!
