A great opportunity
for our members to exhibit their work at Bicton College
Following the Club's impressive Annual Exhibition in August, we have been invited by Bicton College to display members' work in the college library on a rotational basis. This means that members get a chance to have their paintings, drawings and prints shown on a large display wall where they can be seen by students, lecturers and a wider public. Work can be as varied as we wish and the preference is for it to reflect something of the local surroundings, interests and ethos of the college. For example, animals, landscapes, seascapes, local skills, farming and agriculture.
There are no fees involved, just the knowledge that your work is being displayed somewhere prominent, plus there is always the possibility that someone may be interested enough to make a purchase. We have yet to establish how long each display will be up for - it may depend on how many members are interested and the volume of work that is accepted.
It's a great opportunity for the club and its members so if you'd like to submit work for display at the college, please contact Ralph Bingham or John Washington (see the Members Area) so we can take the project forward.
Replies by the end of September would be helpful.
