Five Do Autumn!
A small but keen group arrived at Temple hall and after tea and biscuits and a chat,
Jenny (de la Haye) did a small demo painting leaf shapes and glazes and read a verse from Keats' famous poem...."Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness".
Each of the artists then got on with their own Autumn pictures in a companionable silence of concentration. Some landscapes, some botanical and even a good start on a French village scene, emerged.
Each encouraged each and bounced ideas...a bit like being at college. Painting can be a solitary occupation so these friendly, drop-in workshops are a great idea.
Look out for the next one ... coming soon1
